2116 – A Summary of the Successful 2022 Mega Medical Camp.

The Mega Medical Camp conducted on 20 November 2022 comes back after the Covid-19 break and sparked the largest turnout since its inception in 2012. 2116 patients from Kilifi, Mombasa and Kwale counties were attended to. The services offered were general consultations, Ear, Nose, and Throat, Dental, Eye Checkups with free eye surgeries.
It was also heartwarming to hear from one of the beneficiaries of the mega medical camp,’ Kibwana’, who was glad to have received treatment for his poor eyesight. “I have struggled with my eyesight for a very long time. Most of the time, I see blurry images and I cannot read,” he said. His eyes were examined and he was prescribed with free reading glasses to help him correct his sight. He also encouraged many more members of the community to take advantage of the annual camp.
We look forward to next year’s camp as we continue to make a difference in the lives of the members of our community. We thank our partners, the Lions Club of Mombasa for the consistent support in this initiative.
