Mabati Rolling Mills Limited (MRM), in partnership with the County Government of Kilifi has donated food to over 2,000 families who are currently affected by the cessation of movement measures in Kilifi County. As a business and community member of Kilifi County, we support the proactive decision by the County administration to contain the virus at an early stage.
The COVID-19 pandemic bears a harsh reality marked by loss of incomes which continues to put a strain on the quality of lives of the people living in the county including our immediate communities at Mariakani. We believe that these measures will save lives and it is our hope that we will resume our daily lives when it is all over.
But even with the hard times, we take a moment to appreciate the collective effort by both the public and private sectors in trying to ease the economic burden for thousands of affected families. We are thankful for the great partnerships MRM has enjoyed with our communities in Kilifi County and the country at large.
Together we shall beat Covid-19 and emerge stronger.
